Michelle and Tony had the hottest day of the year so far when they tied the knot in beautiful Biddenham. How the birds sung, how the flowers bloomed, how the booze flowed…..! What a fab day – I loved every minute of it. From the boys turning up in Foxy’s opentop Land Rover to the last bunch of group shots in the gorgeous chillout zone as the sun disappeared (no flash! no flash!), it really was one of those days to remember.
Coincidentally I knew many of the guests from various other weddings, which is always a great feeling. I was treated to (well…ok….I suggested, for the sake of the photographs you understand….) a whizz round the village in the Landy – we couldn’t believe our luck with the weather – a truly memorable moment as we sped past the band who were practicing ‘unplugged’ on the village green, and who launched into ‘Always Take the Weather With You’. Comedy.
The speeches were incredibly poignant, laughter and tears all over the place, and a huge projection screen showing Foxy’s other best man’s speech all the way from Miami. Very cool. I overheard one girl say “Phwor – I wish he was bloody here!” which tickled me.
Just as I was doing post production on this set of images my web guru Scott emailed to say that my new website was ready to be launched – I had to get back to him and tell him to stop the presses – a key image was removed from the site, and the 6th photo down (below) was ceremoniously plonked straight onto the new website – not bad going considering the wedding had only taken place 48 hours earlier!
