Back at Hengrave Hall again last weekend, one of my favourite venues and especially beautiful at Christmastime. Charlotte and Mat braved the snow for me – I didn’t really plan to drag them out in their wedding gear, but that’s what we did, and nobody moaned about the cold (except me..sensitive little soul that I am). This is the kind of couple you need when it’s minus 3 and the “trees look great waaaay over there!!”
Many thanks to my esteemed colleague James ‘The Fixer’ Davidson for coming along and helping out with some alternative angles, having seen the weather forecast. However I got there safely the night before, reciting the Travelodge mantra – TAKE YOUR OWN BISCUITS / TAKE YOUR OWN TEA BAGS / TAKE A LAPTOP BECAUSE THE TVS DON’T WORK.
