This was never going to be an ordinary venue! Guy’s company Four Seasons Marquees created a breathtaking setup at the wonderfully named Mellow Farm, in a field tucked away in quietest Surrey. You may spot slightly more than the average amount of marquee shots when you look at the pictures. Everyone was in the mood for a party and the speeches were comic – a big mention to Rups’ Grandfather Philip, for the funniest speech I have heard in a long time – and a standing ovation, which is no mean feat after 180 guests had been eating and drinking for an hour and a half.
I left the wedding and hurried home because I was the Quizmaster at William’s school’s Annual Village Quiz for the second year running. Hmm…. if my old London friends only knew….Anyway, I made it in the nick of time and we raised over £1000 for the little nippers. Aaaah….
Here are some of my favourites from the wedding.
Wow! What fab photos! We absolutely love them. Thank you so much. It was great fun on the day and everyone has commented on how brilliant you were at getting all the family shots in so quickly and professionally – and you knew all the names of everyone – very cunning! You were brilliant at lurking right in the middle of the action snapping away without anyone knowing…you should be a spy! We just enjoyed every second of the wedding and want to re-live very second – which we can do now with all your pics….partic as there’s a certain amount of memory loss on my part!
Thanks so much
