The demolition and rebuild of my studio has taken far longer than I had ever imagined it could…I thank Lizzie and Nick for their continued patience in the long (three week) wait to see their Hengrave Hall Wedding Photography! (™). As I have never taken longer than 5 days to edit and process a wedding, this has felt very strange for me. My own wedding photographs took six weeks to break the surface, so I pride myself on a normally very fast service. Thanks for your understanding Mr & Mrs McC.
It was all as good as I knew it would be…I was kindly invited to the pre wedding drinks at the Angel in Bury the night before the wedding, shared a quick pint with Nick and Lizzie and skulked off to my Travelodge ready for the bright and early start at Hengrave Hall, one of my all time favourite venues. October 30th – not necessarily the most guaranteedsunshiniest of days, generally speaking, but THIS October 30th was all that any bride could hope for. At least until it didn’t really matter.
The Autumn colours at Hengrave were blinding, the whole venue was filled with an incredible party atmosphere, and this coolest of cool couples were fantastic to work (hah…funny term that) with. We laughed all day long, and I knew I had the shots that I was hoping for. Talking of shots, there was an awful lot of those little glasses flying around towards the end of the day 🙂
Lizzie said by text…“Hey Guy! Oh my goodness….Wow…am in tears….Sooo many amazing memories….its like living the day all over again…We just can’t thank you enough – could never have imagined that you could capture the whole atmosphere and magic of the day in pictures! Just wanted to give you the biggest thankyou hug! My phone hasn’t stopped ringing since I sent links out – you have everyone in tears! PS hope your new studio is going well” Awwww! Here are some of my favourites….
