Befores And Afters

Call me a geek, but much as I used to love standing in a chemical infested darkroom listening to Capital Radio making prints from negatives, I do rather enjoy sitting in front of all my shiny Apple computers playing with (sorry processing) my pictures. Switching between the befores and afters is one of the most satisfying things you can do when spending hours in the dark fiddling with Photoshop.

I imagine some photographers would have you believe that all the magic happens in the camera, or because they have a good eye for a photograph, I have no idea, but I make no secret that for me taking the picture is only the start. I generally know when I am taking the picture what I will end up doing with it, and it is a great reward to see the completed image – and flick like a small child between the befores and the afters …

So I thought that I’d start a little series of those, just for fun. Here’s one.
