Yesterday I shot Laura and Ted’s spectacular wedding at Great Fosters in Surrey – a twelve hour marathon for me and a truly amazing day…I have spent from 8am this morning until now (midnight) working on the images so that I can grab a few days holiday this week with my family.
Great Fosters is another fantastic wedding venue right on my doorstep – I haven’t shot here for a year and it was good to be back….
Laura and Ted live in Hong Kong so I hadn’t met them before the wedding day, but we had several long chats on the phone, and I knew it was going to be a fun day – and so it was…despite the prohibitive priest and the strangely shod videographer…. from the Ice Cream Bicycle to the Great Balloon Race Lift Off, from the Dancing Flip Flops to Ted’s beloved childhood My Little Pony which made a surprise reappearance at the speeches, a great time was had.
Special mention must go to the awesome bangers and mash wedding breakfast – and let it be known that in honour of this fine fare, I ate absolutely no confectionary during the creation of these images.
Two friendlier folk you would be hard pushed to find and I enjoyed both the wedding and the labour intensive edit very much. Here are just some of my favourites from their Great Fosters wedding.
