Hampden House is a fantastic wedding venue for winter or summer. I have always wanted to shoot there and in the depths of darkest December I wasn’t disappointed. Although the grounds are spectacular at Hampden House, in winter it comes into it’s own, with it’s dark wood panelling, big windows, corridors, gallery and general grandeur. Not to mention the thirty foot christmas tree decorated from head to toe. The church lies some 50 metres from the reception venue and on a day like this, that was very handy, as it became undry almost as soon as Alice left the church. A lovely friendly Christmassy wedding. Anybody looking for an amazing catering company, look no further than Cavendish Events. Amazing food, and incredible service with a smile. I have never before recommended a caterer, but Greg and his team were beyond compare.
Here are some of my favourites – look out for small page boy in Welsh Guards uniform – fantastic!
