HEDSOR HOUSE

Hedsor House is the venue I shoot at most frequently, and it is also my favourite. Just driving up the spectacular driveway that winds up to the house fills me with anticipation – no two Hedsor House weddings are the same, as the House is always styled slightly differently. The light in the rooms is beautiful, and the grounds are spectacular.

Formerly a Royal Residence of Augusta the Princess of Wales, Hedsor House is set in a private 85-acre historic park perched high above the Thames, and is the dream wedding venue for the perfect wedding.

Hedsor offers an elite ‘blank-canvas’ venue allowing brides and grooms to create a truly unique wedding, which is all the better for the wedding photography. Bluebells, rhododendrons, long grass, amazing sunsets, cosy winter lighting…it is a truly atmospheric place and from having shot there so much, I can safely say that brides and grooms truly do feel like it is theirs for the day – there are no random members of the public wandering around, and you feel wonderfully cut off from the rest of the world.

Unlike many of the competitors of Hedsor House, it is a family run venue and has none of that ‘wedding factory’ feel about it, and I am so pleased to be Hedsor House Recommended Photographer for three years in a row.
